Mix-Up-Day
As my son learned to dress himself, he struggled with the perception of what was front & back.  He would sleepily walk down the stairs all dressed and ready for school. Every piece of his clothing was backyards and mismatched.  I didn’t have the heart to correct the clothing. He was so proud he had dressed himself. When he got to school the other kids teased him. The teacher solved the problem, she declared it a “Mix Up Day.” All the other children went into the bathroom and turned their clothes backwards and inside out. After that they made it a monthly tradition. - Judy, WI

Good Ole Grandpa
My daughter was baking homemade rolls, practicing for her entry in the county fair.  She was staying with my parents while we were on vacation. She had forgotten to bring the recipe so she baked them from memory. Proudly she served her grandpa as they came out fresh from the oven.  Grandpa, with a constant smile, ate every bite & broke a tooth doing it. – Diane, IL

Digging for Worms
After a rain shower, one afternoon my children decided to go fishing.  First, they had to dig for worms. They forgot to take a container with them. My older daughter, being the great sister that she is, filled my son’s pockets, when those were full, she used his shoes.  Needless to say, fishing was delayed until after a thorough shower. – Todd, WI
